Confess and forsake

Excusing sin, is covering sin. It comes from the carnal desire to appear better than we are. The Bible says: Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. It's best to take the road of responsibility by confessing

The mark

An expert marksman will have his eye set and focused on the right "mark". Although that "mark" (the bullseye), is set at a distance, it's what the marksman is aiming for. For the Christian, our eyes should be set on the heavenly mark, of which Jesus Christ is the center.

Bring them up!

Nowhere, in the Bible, does God instruct fathers to negotiate with their children. Instead, Fathers are commanded by God, to BRING THEM UP. Fathers are to do this: precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little. Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children

You can't minister to everyone, nor did God call you to minister to everyone. Everyone isn't going to visit or attend the church-house you're called to minster at. Everyone isn't going to read what you write, or listen to what you preach. But someone is. The someone, not the everyone,
