The Mona Lisa
Many artists consider the Mona Lisa one of the most famous paintings in history.
Countless art students are called to examine that painting as they attempt to reproduce the original. Their eyes are keenly captivated by every detail.
As soon as an art student would take his eye off the Mona Lisa, the instructor would immediately notice because of what the student reproduced on the canvas.
My question for you today is: How well are you reproducing Christ?
Christ hasn't given you a painting to copy, but He did give you His word to study and obey. If we are to conform to the image of the Son, we would all do best to keep our eyes on Christ and have our eyes keenly captivated by "every Word of God"!
If your heart is the canvas, it's a good idea to get our eyes off all the earthly junk and keep our eyes on the Word of God.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
