Pray for our nation

Proverbs 29:2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Contrary to popular belief, happiness in a society doesn't come from people getting everything they want in the form of free handouts from the government. This is an example of how the wicked rule. And when this happens, the people soon find themselves mourning over what they thought would make them happy.

The Bible does say that the people CAN rejoice when the righteous are in authority.
