New Year's Eve gathering

New Year's Eve gathering

Tomorrow is the first day of the week.

It's the day on the Biblical calendar that Christians have traditionally set aside to gather together for corporate worship of the Lord Jesus Christ. It's a day when Christians also break bread (Acts 20:7), and give of their money for the furtherance of the gospel. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2)

However, on the Gregorian calendar, tomorrow is also considered New Year's Eve. It's the day when American's get together to celebrate the start of the New Year. This celebration also includes people gathering together to break bread, and give of their money for the furtherance of having a good time with friends and family.

Many will use the "New Year's Eve" gathering, as an excuse to miss gathering together with the saints at their local church-house.

Keep in mind, as Christians, we are free to do both. However, many Christians will only choose one gathering.

The question I have is:
IF you were forced into a corner and could only choose 1 gathering tomorrow, what would it be?

Your commitment to Christ and your love for his people will be self-evident by about 10 am tomorrow morning!

Joshua 24:15 ...choose you this day whom ye will serve!
