Conviction happens differently

Conviction happens differently

People come under conviction about certain truths in the Bible at different points in their life.

Some people need a personal conversation.

Some need a book to read about the matter.

Some need a good example to follow.

Some need to piece together the context of all the Bible verses pertaining to an issue.

Some need to get in the prayer closet and pray through the thing.

Some need to sit under some hard preachin' about the matter.

Some need a multitude of counsel before they can settle something in their heart.

All of the above works. We just need to be careful about expecting people to grow in the Lord the exact same way we did.

Remember, just because you came under conviction a certain way, about a certain thing, doesn't mean everyone will come under conviction the same way you did.
