Life in Christ is so much better

The apostle Paul was sitting in a prison cell, writing about his promise of life in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,

While Paul was physically residing in prison, he was also spiritually residing in Christ. He understood his short stay being locked up on earth, was nothing compared to the promise of eternal life he had in Christ Jesus.

For some people, their current physical life, down here on earth, is enjoyable. However, if they don't have eternal life in Christ, one day they'll wake up in a prison cell of hell, never to escape.

Many born again Christians, on the other hand, experience a physical life full of persecutions, trials, and false accusations. However, since they have life in Christ, one day, they'll escape it all and end up in glory!
