Job security vs Eternal security?

Big companies will sell the idea of job security to potential employees.

It's a way for the company to let their people know that they are "loyalty" to their workers.

But the reality is, no job is secure forever. There will always be the risk of cutbacks, being fired, or being bought out by a bigger company that will do the new hiring and firing. Finally, everyone will eventually age out, and retire from the company they once worked for.

As much as it's economically important to invest your time working for a company that can offer you the best perceived job security, it's spiritually more important to invest time considering that only Christ can offer you true, eternal security.

Creating temporal job security, as an employer, is a generous offer. It's creates value and benefits families economically.

However, Christ is the only one that can offer the benefit of eternal security. It benefits you financially when you work for a rich boss. It benefits you eternally when you've been saved by the God who is rich in mercy and grace!

By placing your full faith and trust in the cross-work of Christ, you can rest assured that you will never be fired, bought out or suffer from cutbacks.

You are safe and eternally secure in Christ!
