Increase the effort
As we encourage others to aspire to leadership, let us be careful not to lead them in a way where they are relieved of their OWN personal responsibility.
The encouragement to leadership should be through hard work and service.
Remember: Jesus didn’t multiply loaves and fishes because the people didn’t want to work.
2 Thessalonians 3:10 says: ...that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
People who refuse to work need leadership that counsel's them on how to manage their money. Another handout won't help them.
Don't decrease your goal in trying to help them. Instead, properly lead them by helping them see why they should increase their personal effort, hard work and responsibility.
