Human Search vs Electronic Search

SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, happens online when someone searches for a specific topic, phrase or word. It's based on algorithm's, machines learning and digital processes. If you spend enough money online, you can win at the SEO game.

But, there will come a time in everyone's life when what you're looking for can't be found by an online Google search. During this time, they will turn to a human search, instead of a computer search.

They will search for someone who cares enough to listen and who is strong enough to exert the emotional energy needed to help with the situation.

Human search is based on human connection. It involves spending time with people and offering them compassion.

It's great if you've mastered SEO. But if that translates into spending your life trapped behind computers and cell phones, you've wasted a lot of time that could have been invested in human relationships.

The question is: when someone needs your time, care and compassion, do you show up in the "human search"?
