God's Way is Love
John 1:14 describes Jesus as full of grace and truth.
If parents want to embrace God's way of parenting, it must include BOTH grace and truth.
For example: By showing gracious affection, parents are able to push out fear. This allows room for respect to build out of love.
Also, the most effective way to teach truth, is to model truth in love.
When truth becomes something children want, this can turn into a beautiful parent/child relationship.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Parents desiring to raise their kids God's way need to focus on consistent training, instruction, and chastisement in LOVE.
