Gather then GO

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Many Christians have gotten good at gathering together. The habit of assembling at a church-house has been developed. The COVID-19 pandemic, proved that most Christians are willing to double-down on the fact that it is their right as an American to gather in person. Keep in mind, this 'right to assemble' is enjoyed by American Christians. The persecuted church abroad doesn't enjoy this 'right'.

However, I don't believe the GATHERING is the problem. I believe the GOING is the problem.

Few people GO!
Few people have the desire to GO!
Few people have the desire to GO consistently!
Few people have the desire to GO consistently, with a clear gospel proclamation!

Has the desire to GO been replaced with the unlimited excuses to not GO?

The excitement and adventurous faith-walk of going out and preaching the gospel has diminished because the 'experts' told us that passing out tracts doesn't work anymore, knocking on doors isn't effective and preaching open-air will turn people away.

If the Bible says: Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Then, I think it's about time we STOP obeying the so-called 'experts' and start obeying our expert God and His expert gospel proclamation plan.

In many ways, the devil is perfectly fine with Christians gathering together. What the devil can't stand is Christians GOING out together and preaching the glorious gospel of grace.

Keep gathering, but START going!
