You left out 'through Christ'
Galatians 4:1-2 (KJV) Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
verse 1: child
verse 2: father
Galatians 4:3-4 (KJV) Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
verse 3: we were children
verse 4: God sent forth his Son
Galatians 4:5-6 (KJV) To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
verse 5: adoption of sons
verse 6: the Spirit of his Son & Abba, Father
Galatians 4:7 (KJV) Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
verse 7: son & heir of God
verse 7: through Christ
Praise God! A believer's son-ship and heir-ship was accomplished by God’s redemptive plan THROUGH CHRIST.
Verse 1-2: a child; a father.
Verse 3-4: children; God sent forth his Son
Verse 5-6: adoption of sons; Abba, Father
Verse 7: son & heir of God; through Christ
Sadly, modern versions, like the NIV, left out the phrase: "through Christ". As a result, our redemption through Christ is lost.
In a million years, you're not going to convince me that the best manuscripts leave out THROUGH CHRIST in verse 7.
If they leave out "through Christ", then they aren't the best manuscripts.
