You don't need a revival meeting
I totally get the idea of revival meetings. I'm for them, I support them, I think they are good meetings to go to.
However, consider this. What if the reality was that you don't need another revival meeting to go to. Instead, YOU need to be revived.
If YOU were revived, then everyone you met would be affected by YOUR revival.
Your workmates, your neighbors, your friends, your family, and your church would all be affected by your personal revival.
Instead of looking at revival as a meeting to go to, what if WE got revived and started sharing that with the people we met with?
If every Christian would pray about their own personal revival, that might be the first step towards a national revival.
Revive US Again!
We praise thee, O God, for the Son of thy love,
for Jesus who died, and is now gone above.
We praise thee, O God, for thy Spirit of light
who has shown us our Savior and scattered our night.
We praise thee, O God, for the joy thou hast giv’n
to thy saints in communion, these foretastes of heav’n.
Revive us again, fill each heart with thy love.
May each soul be rekindled with fire from above.
Hallelujah! Thine the glory, hallelujah! Amen!
Hallelujah! Thine the glory, revive us again.
