What are you looking for?
There is a LOT of confusion and competing voices within Christianity.
The biggest voices are gaining its members through carnal programs, and carnal music that have no real spiritual substance. Most of these members aren't fully aware of what they're into. They haven't recognized the dangers that are right in front of them and their children. All they know is that the church they go to makes them FEEL good.
However, when a Christian finally wakes up from this deception, they understand that they must come out from among them, and be ye separate.
As a result, they start visiting other churches. Many really don't know what they're looking for. They just know they are looking for something that is NOT the carnal mess they came out of.
As the opportunity arises, it's a good idea to ask them: "What are you looking for?"
This simple question opens up the conversation and gently compels someone to think about the WHAT.
It allows for an opportunity to explain why the WHAT is so important, and it helps people think through those specifics.
If someone is looking for truth, you'll have an opportunity to explain WHAT a true church is and isn't.
