Trapped in Darkness!

If you've wandered deep into a forest in the middle of the night, with no full moon to cast any light, you would be lost in pitch-black darkness
Under those conditions, the slightest flicker of light would get your attention. If you truly wanted to be delivered from darkness, you would move toward the light with some attraction. The light would urge you to press toward it.
However, if you didn’t want light, you would shrink back deeper into the darkness of the forest.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
This is the lost condition of mankind. Our world is trapped in darkness. We are in dire need of the light of the glorious gospel.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
