The word is truth

ONE: The word of God is truth.

• John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

TWO: The word of God identifies the man of God as truthful.

• 1 Kings 17:24 And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.

THREE: The word of God contain the truthful works of God.

• Psalm 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

FOUR: The word of God contains the truth of the gospel.

• Colossians 1:5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

FIVE: The word of God is to be received as Truth.

• 1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

SIX: We are to love others based on the truth of the word of God.

• 3 John 1 The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.

SEVEN: The truth of the word of God has taken up permanent residence in the hearts of believers.

• 2 John 2 For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.

EIGHT: Believers should rejoice in the truth of the word of God.

• 1 Corinthians 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

NINE: Freedom is found in knowing the truth of the word of God.

• John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

TEN: Jesus is the truth. Receive Him today!

• John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
