The mark

An expert marksman will have his eye set and focused on the right "mark".

Although that "mark" (the bullseye), is set at a distance, it's what the marksman is aiming for.

For the Christian, our eyes should be set on the heavenly mark, of which Jesus Christ is the center.

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

The prize is an incorruptible one in heaven. The prize is of the high calling of God. This "high calling" involves living an upward life with an upward look.

It sure is worth it ALL to serve Jesus.
