The LORD is merciful
Our Lord is not only merciful, he has plenty of it.
Psalm 103:8-10 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
Praise God, that he did not deal with our nation "after our sins".
Thank God, that he did not reward us "according to our iniquities".
Instead, He has graciously postponed the utter moral destruction of our nation.
I am thankful, that the radical left-wing democrats and Kamala Harris evil plans were soundly defeated.
The Lord answered YES to the 1st-part of my 4-fold prayer yesterday. I'm sure many prayers went up to God concerning this.
My prayer now has become 3-fold...
- that the Republican Party will return to consistent pro-life messaging and policymaking.
- that Christian's wake-up and learn how to rightly divide their bibles, so they would stop being fooled by the false, Word-of-Faith prophets; the false, New Apostolic Reformation prophets; and the ever-so-confused Christian Nationalism pastors that are deeply influential to the Republican Party, and it's Republican Christian base.
- that our nation's leaders, both Republican's and Democrat's, would be gloriously saved through repentance, faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The reason we MUST pray for our nation's leaders became all the more important to me after I listened to Donald Trump's victory speech.
Trump said: "God spared my life for a reason, and that reason was to SAVE our country."
As much as we all want safe borders, a strong military, and economic prosperity, we must remember, life is just a vapour.
James 4:14 For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
In his victory speech, Trump completely MISSED the reason why God spared his life.
It wasn't so that Trump could be the savior of America, as much as it was for him to have another opportunity to trust Christ as the Savior of his soul. Our God spared his life to give him another chance to repent and get born-again, so he wouldn't die and end up in hell.
A preacher friend of mine, said it best: "If we as the church could only get souls as concerned about eternity, as they are about an election!"
I'm praying for souls.
I'm concerned about souls.
I'm passionate about soul-care, as the CHURCH should be.
And whether the winner of the election was an Elephant or a Donkey… our focus must remain on the LAMB!
John 1:20 Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
