The Fruit of the Spirit is PEACE

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace...

The kingdom of God, (within you/not with observation) is a kingdom of peace.

Jesus is the Prince of Peace. As Christians, we preach the gospel of Peace and are called by God to live peaceably with all men.

The Bible says in James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable...

However, there is a war going on within us. This war wants to rob every Christian of enjoying the fruit of PEACE. The enemy is LUST!

1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

Ironically, if we want to enjoy the fruit of peace, we must wage war against our own fleshly lusts.
