The deceit of the false witness

The world is full of false witnesses.

Proverbs 12:17 He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.

The deceitful talk of the false witness shows up in the news, the headlines, the workplace, the marketing agency, and the political messaging.

Arguments develop, passions rise, and the mob swells because of the false hope developed by the false witness.

One way to protect against the false witness is to commit to speaking truth. Another way, is to remember what it was that deceived you the last time.
