The Church is God's Household!

1 Timothy 3:15 refers to the church as: the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Acts 20:28 declares the Church was purchased with the precious blood of Christ.

Its members are made up of believers that come from a variety of different backgrounds and ethnicities. It must be understood that the church family is eternal, while the nuclear family is temporary.

• Gal 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
  
• Eph 2:19-22 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

God’s Family is THE CHURCH!

When you repent, by believing the Gospel and trusting Christ as your Saviour you become a child of God and become part of His household.

John 1:12 says: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Remember, the church is a spiritual family, not a man-made, physical family.
