The Biblical Influencer
We can't control what other people do, but we can be an influence in their lives.
Below are 4 ways to be a biblical influencer:
ONE: Be the sharpening influence. A sharp edge is much more effective than a dull one.
Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
TWO: Be the positive influencer, that provokes in the right way.
Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
THREE: Be the comforting influence. The world beats us down, so be the guy or gal that builds others up.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
FOUR: Be the pleasant influencer. The words we use should bring healing, not destruction.
Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
