Teach by example

This is a picture of my daughter, Hannah, holding a scripture sign at an outreach our family did with our local church back in 2015. She's just shy of 3 years old in this picture.

I believe one of the greatest lessons a parent can teach their children is how to take a bold stand for the Lord Jesus Christ, by going public with the gospel.

As Christian parents, we must teach our children, through our example, that the great commission is a command given to all believers.

We also must teach them that it's normal for Christian families and Christian churches to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in the public arena.

Almost 9 years later, my daughter still enjoys public evangelism. Just the other day, she asked me: "Daddy, when are we going to go door-knocking again!"

Train 'em young.
Train 'em right.
Train 'em to be all in for Jesus!

I am blessed beyond words!
