Story-time with Shirer
Beware of Priscilla Shirer. She is a false-teacher, who has led many women, (and men) astray.
Yes, even men sit in an audience and listen to her disobey God, as she attempts to teach the Bible. These men are too weak in the faith to get up and walk out. Instead, they would rather join her and thumb their nose at the Bible that clearly says...
1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
Priscilla Shirer blasphemously compares the Bible to hand-me-down clothes. It's also no surprise that this ravening wolf is preaching - listen to what your feelings are telling you, rather than what the Bible clearly says.
Even more damaging is that many churches in America think story-time with Shirer is actually a good idea. Even some Baptist churches, who once were very solid in doctrine, have become very weak in doctrine. They have been deceived by the word-of-faith, prosperity gospel, which Shirer is a part of.
False prophet Priscilla carefully crafts her message to make it seem like she's not mocking the Bible. However, that is exactly what she's doing when she teaches people to desire a fresh and private revelation from God "with their name on it". It's absolute heresy when she compares the Bible to a hand-me-down revelation!
Here's what THE BIBLE actually says:
2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Bible is NOT a hand-me-down revelation. As a matter of fact, if you want something straight from God, that is fresh, relevant, AND ...

- given by God
- a lamp and light
- quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword.
...then read, believe, and obey THE BIBLE, and ditch story-time with Shirer.
Sadly, though, many people will pay good money to have their ears tickled by this celebrity-false-teacher. They care more about being around and learning from famous people, than they do learning sound doctrine.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
America is in a mess of heresy! And Christians must wake up and STOP wanting their ears tickled. The Bible warns, not to receive false teachers or bid them God speed, because you yourself would become a partaker of the evil.
2 John 9-11 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
Instead, more Christians MUST learn to walk wisely.
Proverbs 28:26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
The bottom line is this: Ditch story-time with Shirer, and find a local-church that is teaching and preaching what THE BIBLE actually says.
