Stop and Pray for Behold Your God Conference

Two weeks from now, Pilgrim Baptist Church will host our 6th Annual Bible Conference — Behold Your God: Comfort and Strength for the Weary Soul — April 22–24 right here in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Ten sermons. Five preachers. All of them working through Isaiah 40.

It doesn't offer cheap comfort. It points you to a God who never faints. Never grows weary. Never fails.

We need that God right now.

We are asking for your prayer. Pray that God would move in that room. Pray that weary people would find the strength that only comes from waiting on the Lord. Pray that the preaching of His Word would do what it always does — cut through, convict, and never return void.

Isaiah 40:8 says: "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever."

Everything else will fail you. The word won't.

Pray for the pastors traveling to be here. Pray for the people who don't know they need to come. Pray for the families who will pack up and make the drive. And pray that God would be glorified.

That's the whole goal. To behold Him.
