Peace to those in turmoil.

The power of the gospel gives peace to those in turmoil.

Ephesians 2:13-14 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Praise the Lord that believers have found true peace in Christ! There is no more wall between us and the Lord. He IS our peace!

Ephesians 2:15-17 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

Praise the Lord that we are no longer enemies of God! We have been reconciled to Him by Christ's death on the cross. This means that all our past sins, and those sins we would commit in the future, have all been taken care of on the cross!

We are no longer "afar off" from God. Instead, we are "nigh". Praise God for the Prince of Peace!

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
