Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Thanksgiving is the fruits that God's people produce with their lips.
Continual praise to God, is one of the great duties of the redeemed. We might as well get used to it now, because we'll be doing it throughout all eternity.
Psalm 107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
