A Lively Hope for the Hopeless
The power of the gospel gives hope to the hopeless.
1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
The lively hope a believer has comes from the power of the gospel.
The believers' inheritance is incorruptible. It will never change, dissolve or separate!
The believers' inheritance "fadeth not away". Therefore, it's not going to wither, lose strength or vanish!
The believers' inheritance is reserved in heaven. This means, that absolutely no one can call God and cancel our reservation. All because we are kept by the power of God.
Praise the Lord, that the gospel gives a lively hope to those who were dead and hopeless.
