Life imparted and freely offered

The Lord Jesus Christ imparts eternal life as a gift that is freely offered. This life cannot be earned, worked for, or bought. It can only be received.

Below are 7 Bible verses from the Book of John that bring out the glorious truth of life imparted as a gift from God.

ONE: Life, as living water, that is freely given.

John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

TWO: Life, freely offered to the world.

John 6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.

THREE: Jesus' life, offered for our life.

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

FOUR: Life, never to be lost.

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

FIVE: Life offered to all.

John 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.

SIX: A life of spiritual abundance.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

SEVEN: Eternal life realized, because Christ lives as the Eternal God.

John 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
