Jesus Never Promised a Crowd

I’ve heard it said that a church has to be big to be healthy. I can’t find that in my Bible.
What I do find is the Lord Jesus saying, “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:14). Jesus was very clear.
So if you’re a pastor with a small flock, or a dad leading a house that doesn’t look like the neighbors’, take heart. Do what God asked of you, which is to be faithful, and leave the numbers to Him.
