If you rush...
What a preacher says, matters. Each word, phrase and sentence has meaning.
If you rush through a sermon, you'll miss important points of emphasis and necessary cross-references.
On the other hand, if you attempt to preach all the information you want in 1 sermon, you may cause folks to leave not remembering or understanding any of it.
For this reason, sometimes it's necessary to spend more time on fewer things to ensure the hearers leave edified by the message.
