How to prove all things

How to prove all things

God expects us to test and prove truth. As a matter of fact, the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Below are 3 ways to apply the truth principle found in 1 Thessalonians 5:21...

ONE: Prove all things by SEARCHING the scriptures.

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

TWO: Prove all things by STUDYING the scriptures.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

THREE: Prove all things by remaining SETTLED in the scriptures.

Colossians 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

A daily search of the scriptures, keeps us studied up and settled in the scriptures!
