Hiding eggs is hiding the gospel

So, let me get this straight...

The Bible clearly proclaims the glorious resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ:

In John 11, Jesus Himself said: I AM the RESURRECTION!

In 1 Thessalonians 4, the Bible says that Jesus died and rose again!

In 1 Corinthians 15, the gospel is plainly presented: ...how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Our duty as Christians is to declare to the world these truths:

• UP from the grave He arose!
• Jesus died and rose again!
• Christ is the resurrection!

However, this weekend, s0-called churches all across American will proclaim:

• Let's hide eggs!
• Come to our helicopter egg drop extravaganza!
• Get your picture with the easter bunny!
• Join us for our egg hunt!

All of this is done in an attempt to draw people into churches. It's absolute BLASPHEMY before a Holy God!

Here's why.

When the carnival church says: "Let's hide eggs", what they are really hiding is THE GOSPEL!

If the gospel is NOT good enough to draw people, then all we're left with is carnival games to keep people coming.
