God Doesn't Owe You Comfort
Nowhere in Scripture does God promise you an easy life.
He promises trials, persecution, and suffering. He also promises His presence, His strength, and His grace—and that's better than comfort.
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)
You're not weak because life is hard. The trial that won't lift doesn't mean God forgot you. God isn't after your comfort. He's after your faithfulness.
The world chases ease. You were called to endurance that builds character, and character that builds hope.
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: (Romans 5:3-4)
Stop demanding comfort. Start pursuing faithfulness.
And when you're weary? He'll carry you through. That's not the same as making it easy. It's better.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
