Most Christians have been told that Genesis 6 is about "good guys marrying bad guys." That's not what your Bible says.

What Really Happened in Genesis 6
Genesis 6:2,4 reveals the disturbing reality: "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose... There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."
The "sons of God" were fallen angels. Here's why:
- In Job 1:6 and Job 38:7, "sons of God" clearly refers to angels
- Normal human marriages don't produce giants
- The offspring were "mighty men" - supernatural beings
These weren't ordinary children. They were Nephilim - violent hybrid creatures that filled the earth with corruption and violence.
God's Response Was Swift and Devastating
The corruption became so severe that Genesis 6:5 tells us "God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually."
God destroyed the entire world with a flood.
The Shocking End Times Connection

Daniel 2:43 prophesies about the final world empire: "And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay."
Who are "they" that will mingle with the seed of men?
The same fallen angels from Genesis 6.
The Pattern Repeats
Just as in Noah's day:
- Fallen angels will mingle with humanity
- Supernatural corruption will fill the earth
- Violence and wickedness will reach unprecedented levels
- God will judge and destroy - but this time with fire, not water
Matthew 24:37 warns us: "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
