Fear God
There have been many acronym-style definitions of the word fear over the years.
One is:
False Evidence Appearing Real
It means, there is nothing to fear and there is no danger to be aware of.
It's a false fear that someone fabricates in their mind. It's an illusion of fear that doesn't exist.
Another one is:
Forget Everything And Run;
Face Everything And Rise
This one means there is something to fear. A real threat does exist and has been identified. This fear is not a fabric of someone's imagination. But a choice has to be made when faced with it: either RUN or RISE.
Both of the above acronym-style definitions can be helpful to us. However, there is a 3rd type of fear that is often overlooked. That is, the fear of the Lord.
