Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

If we leave out the context of every thing, we'll miss the peace of God.

I hope we don't pray through some things. I hope we don't just bring the requests we feel like bringing to God. Instead, we should bring EVERY THING, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving.

If we get an understanding of bringing every thing to God, we'll end up getting the peace which passeth all understanding.

That's the peace that will protect our hearts and minds.
