Do you cheat at checkers?

If you cheat at checkers, we can't trust you.

Many children throughout the years have dishonestly won the game of checkers by cheating. If that behavior isn't dealt with and corrected, you'll eventually end up with an adult who cheats at checkers.

Sadly, that's exactly what we have today; adults who "cheat at checkers".

They "cheat at checkers" when they lie to you through news media outlets, when they create narratives designed to deceive you, when they steal your online data, when they make bold promises and hide the exclusions in the 'fine print', when they break their part of the agreement, when they buy your email and then spam you, and when they convince you they are financially successful, but they're not.

When people, companies and organizations use these sophisticated ways of "cheating at checkers", it tells us that we can't trust you.
