Costume Christianity
Purchasing a 3-piece suit doesn't make someone a preacher.
Carrying around a bible doesn't make someone a Christian.
A shiny prayer-card and a well written prayer letter doesn't make someone a missionary.
People have gotten good at purchasing "props". As a result, we see a lot of costume Christianity in America nowadays.
The easy part is putting on the costume.
The hard part is doing the work of the ministry.
The body of Christ isn't edified when those that have the costume avoid the hard work.
