Confess and forsake

Excusing sin, is covering sin. It comes from the carnal desire to appear better than we are.

The Bible says:

Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

It's best to take the road of responsibility by confessing and forsaking your own sin.

Remember, man's covering never satisfies God. Man need God's covering. God alone is the one who can satisfactorily cover sin, but only after it's been revealed. It's why men must see themselves as sinners, before they can receive Gods' covering gift of grace.

Confess and forsake today.
