Compassion in preaching
Just because the preacher knows and understands what he's preaching, doesn't mean everyone else knows and understands what he's preaching.
Preachers often miss this important aspect of the ministry.
Preachers know their stuff, but they shouldn't assume anyone else does.
Sometimes confusion happens when the preacher moves forward too fast, and doesn't spend enough time on a specific topic or doctrine.
The preacher can't assume that the church members understand something, just because the preacher understands it.
Compassion in teaching will require the preacher to go over a passage of scripture again.
Compassion will require them to repeatedly teach a doctrine, so the hearers hear what they need to hear, and understand what they didn't understand before.
