By His Prophets in the Holy Scriptures

Romans 1:1-2 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,)

Under the Holy Spirit's inspiration, the Old Testament prophets wrote about salvation through Jesus Christ and the substance of the gospel as Jesus Christ.

· Moses prophesized of Christ as a prophet like unto Himself.

· David prophesized of Christ as the annointed.

· Isaiah prophesized of Christ as wonderful, counsellor, mighty God, and man of sorrows.

· Jeremiah prophesized of Christ the Lord our Righteousness.

· Ezekiel prophesized of Christ as the Shepherd King.

· Daniel prophesized of Christ as Messiah the Prince.

· Micah prophesized of Christ as the judge of Israel.

· Haggai prophesized of Christ as the desire of all nations.

· Zechariah prophesized of Christ as the pierced one.

· Malachi prophesized of Christ as the Sun of righteousness.
