Be Diligent Bible

2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

All other modern Bible versions remove the word STUDY from 2 Timothy 2:15.

For example:

• the NIV & ESV render it as: "Do you best"
• the NASB & NKJV render it as: "Be diligent"

What is most disingenuous, is that these same modern version publishing companies and committees, will then publish, print and sell a "STUDY Bible".

You've got ONE place in the Holy Bible where God's people are told to STUDY the word of truth. The modern versions remove that reference, and then publish a STUDY-Bible.

The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart:

How come the modern version publishing companies don't call it a: "DO YOUR BEST" Bible", or a "BE DILIGENT" Bible?

The reason is that they are dishonest peddlers who know nobody would buy a "BE DILIGENT Bible".

All Christians know that God wants them to STUDY His word, which is why STUDY Bibles are so popular.

Nothing like a King James Bible to expose the dishonest marketing tactics of the modern versions!
