Appeasing Strife

Proverbs 15:18(a) A wrathful man stirreth up strife:

Strife is a contest for superiority. The agitation and contention grows into larger problems when stirred up.

Proverbs 15:18(b) ...but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.

Appeaseth means to calm things down and bring to a state of peacefulness.

Slow down and appease strife. This is the better way to live.
