A dead tree meets a Living Saviour

At the birth of Jesus Christ, the Saviour was placed in a wooden manger.

At the death of Jesus Christ, the Saviour was hung on a wooden cross.

The living God stepped down from heaven and took on human flesh. At both His birth and His death, He was wrapped around dead wood, from a dead tree.

He did this so our DEAD souls could be regenerated with everlasting LIFE!

1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
