4 Types of Sin

The Bible says: ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Consider these 4 types of sins, whereby sinners, sin.

There are sins of IGNORANCE.

Paul, under the Holy Spirit's inspiration, said in 1 Timothy 1:13

Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

There are sins of the FLESH.

Galatians 5:17-21 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings,

There are sins of OMISSION.

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

There are sins of REFUSAL TO DO RIGHT.

Proverbs 29:1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
